Dalrymple Presses for Use of Missouri River for North Dakota Water Supply Projects

Gov. Jack Dalrymple today met in Washington, D.C., with U.S. Bureau of Reclamation Commissioner Estevan Lopez to advance development of the Northwest Area Water Supply Project (NAWS).

"I wanted to remind them that tens of thousands of residents in northwest North Dakota are relying on NAWS to move forward so that they can get the high-quality water supply they deserve," Dalrymple said. "Now that the Bureau's environmental review is complete, I made it clear that we fully expect work on NAWS to resume."
